Take childbirth classes - Prepare for your delivery day by attending childbirth classes with the mom-to-be. Your local hospital or obstetrician's office is a great source for available classes. Depending upon class content and the instructor(s), class fees will range from $30 to $100.
Know the route - Know the hospital route from your home to your hospital of choice. And since you might be elsewhere when the moment arrives, know the hospital route from the alternate places mom frequents. Keep aware of traffic closings and always have a full tank of gas in the car.
